Intralox is seeking a Professional Writing Intern – Marketing for the summer of 2025. In this role, you will enhance customer experiences, website usability, and knowledge management.
The focus of this role will be to collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to plan, draft, and finalize product descriptions for our online Belt Finder tool. You will also gain exposure to content creation projects and processes within the Marketing Department. There may be additional opportunities to contribute to Marketing deliverables (print, web, digital, etc.) .
The ideal candidate is self-managed, a strong writer, a discerning problem-solver, and comfortable collaborating with a wide range of people. The role will be based primarily in Harahan, Louisiana, with limited opportunities for hybrid work. The requirements and responsibilities are as follows:
Requirements:
*Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in writing, communications, marketing, English, or a similar/related field
*Excellent writing, editing and verbal communications skills
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, error-free content
*Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with stakeholders, and adapt to changing circumstances
*Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Responsibilities:
*Research, write, and finalize conveyor belt product descriptions for the Belt Finder tool on Intralox.com
*Collaborate with marketing, technical writing, engineering, and business teams to ensure writing is clear and accurate
*Independently manage all aspects of the web writing process—gathering information, drafting, receiving and validating feedback, finalizing, securing approvals, and uploading
*Assist in creating marketing materials like flyers and website content, as needed
*Produce writing in line with corporate tone, style, and writing standards
